Michelangelo Zaccarello is Associate Professor of Italian Philology at the University of Verona and Co-Director of Centro internazionale per lo studio e la didattica dell'italiano e dei dialetti. He has previously taught at University College, Dublin and Oxford University has been a Visiting Lecturer at many universities in the United States, Europe and Japan. His publications include 12 books, including REPERTA. Indagini, recuperi, ritrovamenti di letteratura italiana antica (2008) and numerous articles on Renaissance authors, Dante and early Italian texts. Professor Zaccarello is the winner of many grants and awards (including more recently the Editor's Prize awarded by the Society for Textual Scholarship for best essay published in Textual Cultures [2009-2010]) and is currently on a Fulbright Research Scholarship at the University of Indiana.
