Lauren Du Graf (B.A. 2008) wins the 2012-13 A. Owen Aldridge Prize for an Outstanding Essay by a Graduate Student

The American Comparative Literature Association has given top honors to an essay written by Lauren Du Graf (B.A. 2008).  Lauren's essay “’Droits d'auteur’: The Faulknerian Author-Function in Godard’s Film Socialisme” has been selected as the winner of the 2012-13 A. Owen Aldridge Prize for an Outstanding Essay by a Graduate Student and will be published in a future issue of Comparative Literature Studies.  Lauren will be awarded her prize at the 2013 ACLA conference in Toronto later this year.  Lauren is currently a Ph.D. Student in the Comparative Literature program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
